Our entire world is composed of singular elements which are organized into larger, more complex structures. Atoms combine to form molecules. Schools of fish move and react as a single consciousness. Our bodies are made up of billions, perhaps trillions of individual cells. One day while on the phone, I found myself doodling. Drawing circle after circle, the thought struck me that the circle is one of the simplest forms, yet is ripe with possibility. This is the inspiration for this piece.
To create this piece, I connected my graphics tablet and simply began making doodle circles on the canvas. I adjusted the brush's size jitter and flow jitter to accept input from pen pressure to make a more realistic pen effect.
