The client came to us with the idea of using a dove for their company logo, and they also wanted a logo which resembled an automotive emblem. After some experimenting, it became clear that using an actual dove was not getting the result we needed, so we took a different approach and began exploring a more stylized approach. Once the overall shape was locked in, we kept working it in Photoshop using gradients, the Add Noise filter, and the Bevel and Emboss layer effect to create the metallic automotive emblem look the client wanted.
